Digital Participation

Moderation Policy

Across our digital platforms, we have the right to remove content that:

  • Creates a threat to security.
  • Includes offensive, defamatory, indecent, obscene or inappropriate language. 
  • Does not respect local laws.
  • Violates the privacy of others.
  • Is racist, harmful, and prejudiced against anyone based on their race, colour, nationality or religion. Engages in political debate or discussion.
  • Creates a breach of intellectual property rights.
  • Includes spam or fraudulent commentary.
  • Platform users who do not follow the rules may be denied access and blocked from the platform.

Rules of conduct

  • We should treat each other with kindness and respect in all communications.
  •  Personal topics should remain personal, and should not be discussed.
  • We will not tolerate comments containing inappropriate language or violating an individual’s privacy.
  • We will not share sensitive and confidential information.

Review and Audit Policy

All feedback and articles provided by the public will be subject to review and audit before being published online. This process checks if the content provided is in line with our policies and provisions mentioned above. Any contribution that violates our provisions and policies will be removed. In certain cases, violators can be prosecuted in accordance with UAE laws and regulations.

All participation and discussions presented by the public are considered to be personal, reflecting the author’s views alone. The CBUAE cannot be held liable for any client misuse of digital participation tools.
